Sandwich Recipe Hung curd and veggies

Hello there…

Its been exciting  to  write down my recipes and sharing it with you all. So here is another addition to the menu, I am sharing the recipe of hung curd sandwich. Hung curd is one of my favorite ingredients and incase you are wondering how to make it, No worries making hung curd is also included in the recipe here.




  1. 6 tbsp hung curd.
  2. half  medium sized onion cut into julienne.
  3. Half french cucumber cut into julienne.
  4. One medium sized boiled potato cut into cubes.
  5. One small carrot grated.
  6.  Half capsicum cut into julienne.
  7. Red cabbage shredded.
  8. 1/4 tsp salt
  9. 1/2 tbsp Mexican seasoning.
  10. 1/8 tsp Black pepper
  11. 1 tbsp Coriander-mint chutney
  12. slices of bread.

Preparation of Hung Curd:

  1. Take a  broad strainer wash it thoroughly.
  2. Keep the strainer on a bowl.
  3. Add curd to the strained and cover it with a lid.
  4. Keep it aside  for 4 hours and transfer the remaining curd from the strainer.

Your hung curd is ready


  1. Keep it in the refrigerator and use it cold.
  2. Increase in temperature for long may loosen up the consistency



Preparation of the sandwich:

  1. Take a salad bowl ,add potato cubes to it and mash it.
  2.  Add all the veggies (onion,cucumber,carrot,capsicum,cabbage).
  3. Add 4 tbsp hung curd to the veggies and mix well
  4. Now add salt and seasoning to the mixture .
  5. Take a small bowl, add remaining 2 tbsp of hung curd, add black pepper and coriander -mint chutney to it.( will be used as a bread spread)
  6. Now take the bread slices apply the bread spread evenly on them.
  7. Add the hung curd a veggies mixture and spread evenly.
  8. Take the remaining bread slices and cover the mixture .


Add potato cubes and mash them, add all the veggies and mix well.Now add hung                   curd salt and mix herbs and give it a stir.

Your filling is ready


Take remaining hung curd in a bowl , add coriander-mint chutney and blak pepper, stir it well.

Your bread spread is ready

Apply the bread spread evenly on the slices and add filling. Cover the filling with other slice.

Your sandwich is ready


Cut the sandwich into two pieces and serve.


So the hung curd sandwich is ready to serve, no grill and no bake recipe, can be made with the basic veggies.
