Finally we are adding up a new series in our blog that is restaurant reviews. We always love to explore new eateries although the food is sometimes disappointing but that does not stop us from trying new restaurants. So next time you would want to try a new restaurant, do check out our blog for the review. If you don’t find your restaurant over here, you can write to us and soon we’ll review it for you.
Today we are starting here with “Cream Center” which is an international Veg chain restaurant having its presence in India and Gulf countries. In India, it is available in Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin, Kolkata, Lonavala, Vapi, Pune, Raipur and Rajasthan. This time we visited the one at Phoenix Market City, Mumbai. It has nice entrance with two managers taking your booking at podium. Previously we visited its other branch at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon. We loved it’s special Dum Biryani and Paneer ka Baap starter both of which were mouthwatering and delicious.
We thought to skip starters as it was already late for lunch so started with soup first. While waiting for the order they give a work sheet which has “find the difference”, maze and some puzzles…a good thing to kill the time while you wait for the food to arrive. In the meantime, we also clicked some pics.
The restaurant has good variety in menu and we like the fact that they have included pictures of the food also which gives an idea as to what will be server and how the food looks like. Although this does not make much difference but looking at the beautiful pictures of the food increases our appetite. Have a look…
We started with soup and then thought to try some sizzlers this time as their north Indian food is always good. We ordered Veg Man chow soup first which was very yummy.
After soup, we ordered sizzlers as it was quite long we did not have sizzlers. They had Pav Bhaji Mumbai Special Sizzler in the menu and that sounded quite interesting so we thought to give it a try along with another spicy Schezwan Vegetable sizzler. Well, Pav Bhaji one was indeed quite good but Schezwan one was just okay. Even the Schezwan sauce was quite flat in taste as compared to the authentic Schezwan sauce which is quite spicy. So on a scale of 10, I would rate 7 to Pav Bhazi sizzler and 5 to Schezwan Vegetable sizzler. After the meals we ordered Virgin Mojito which as was served in mason jar ❤ and was quite unique. 2 soups, 2 sizzlers and 1 drink costed us Rs. 1800.
The groupfie time 😀
