Travel Diaries: Port Blair|Paradise on Indian land

Hello Everyone,
Today I am sharing my luxurious experience when I recently visited Havelock Islands.
Best season to be on grounds of Port Blair is sept to April. Frankly speaking rainy days are not good for a commuter to be in port Blair.
If you are flying from Mumbai …it’s better one should catch a Go Air flight around 5.50 via chennai which reaches to port Blair at 10.30…While landing you will able to see the plenty beautiful islands if you are at window seat….amazing view from a top…. Everywhere you will see blue wild ocean surrounded by dark forests.
Well ,After landing I checked in to Sinclairs Bayview Hotel…Once you go in to room …just open the window…& Bay of Bengal will speak to you with its giant waves.Have lunch & relax …then you should visit to Central Jail where many of our freedom fighters fought with Britishers & gave us gift of Independent India…Veer Savarkar was one of them.To enhance your patriotism…jail management would show you laser show…which will flash you real torture faced by our great fighters.
Next day board the early morning cruise to Havelock …with 90 min you will reach. Its non developed part of India…but yet beautiful that’s why I said paradise of Indian land. Here you will see blue water every where & many of times networks are away from satellites…which really doesn’t matter if you have come to relax.I stayed at resort called Symphony Palms …Hotel of cottages. After relaxing if you are adventurous can go for scuba diving & snorkelling. If you want exchange thoughts with nature …take mock tail & go on beach …relax.
Next day you can visit to Elephanta Beach & Radhanagar beach …one of cleanest beaches ever I have seen in India. Motor boat will take to take you Elephanta beach & there you can enjoy snorkelling & view the creativity of God in the heart of marine waters. Snorkelling is good for those who suffer with chronic diseases like hypertension but scuba is not their the cup of tea.come back & have lunch …relax & go to Radhanagar beach…just take out your shoes & go on side walk …you will really enjoy it.
Come back & enjoy gala dinner…board the next day cruise …reach to port Blair …fly back to Mumbai.
You can plan it for 4-5 days as most of time go in tedious travelling but once you reach …there is nothing which may distress you other than you network.
So …when are you boarding flight & enjoy the harmony between self & deep ocean.
Live to travel or Travel to live!

Ashwini
