Cumin Mint Rice/Zeera Pudina Rice

Hi All,


Wondering what do you with the left over rice,give it a mouthwatering twist with mint,cumin seeds and veggies.

Lets begin


  1. Leftover cooked rice
  2. 1 onion,chopped
  3. half capsicum,chopped.
  4. 1 carrot,chopped.
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds/zeera
  6. 1 tsp dried mint powder.
  7. 1/4 tsp garam masala.
  8. 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  9. 2 tbsp cooking oil.
  10. 1/2 tsp salt.



  1. Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds and veggies.
  2. Stir fry all the veggies till they become soft.
  3. Add mint powder,black pepper,garam masala and salt.
  4. Now add leftover rice and mix well.
  5. Stir cook for 3-4 minutes and rice is ready to serve.

Add mint powder and blackpepper

Add salt and mix well

Add rice and garam masala, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes


Serve hot
