Mushroom And Potato/Aloo Sandwich

Hi All,

This recipe is a quick fix food and yet a delight for the taste buds.

It requires very basic ingredients and is good for a tummy filling meal.

Ingredients:

  1. 10 button mushrooms chopped.
  2. 2 medium onions cut into half rings.
  3. 4 boiled potatoes.
  4. 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  5. 1/2 tsp salt.
  6. 2 tsp tomato ketchup.
  7. 1 tsp All purpose seasoning.
  8. 12 slices of bread.
  9. 3-4 tsp oil or butter.

 

Preparation:

  1. Take a frying pan, add 1 tsp oil and chopped mushrooms. Fry until mushrooms turn golden in color.
  2. Add onion, black pepper and all purpose seasoning and stir fry on medium flame for 3 minutes.
  3. Peel and mash the boil potato and add to the mushroom onion mix. Stir well,add salt and ketchup. Cook for 3-4 minutes and filling is ready.
  4. Arrange the bread slices and add the filling evenly. cover with another bread slices, apply oil or butter on both sides and grill it on Tawa or sandwich maker until it becomes crisp.

Serve it with  green chutney or tomato ketchup.
