Bhajia Burger

I am back with a fusion recipe and of course one of my experiments.


  1. 5-6 tbsp besan.
  2. 3 tbsp rice flour
  3. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
  4. 1 tsp chilli powder
  5. 1 tbsp dried methi leaves.
  6. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  7. 1/2 tsp salt.
  8. 1 tsp chat masala.
  9. 1/4 tsp garam masala.
  10. 2 large onion sliced.
  11. 1 medium onion rings
  12. 2 tbsp mayyonaise.
  13. 6 tbsp tomato ketchup
  14. Lettuce
  15. Tomato slices
  16. 1/2 tsp tamarind paste.
  17. Cooking oil


  1. For making bhajia, add besan, rice flour, methi leaves, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp chat masala to a mixing bowl and add sliced onion. Now add water in steps to reach a medium consistency. consistency should not be watery. Add cooking  oil to a  deep frying pan and fry the bhajia till  golden .. Keep it aside.
  2. Take a small mixing bowl and add mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, 1/4 tsp chilli powder and 1/4 tsp garam masala. Mix all the ingredients well and here is the mayoketchup. Mayoketchup can be used for various recipes.
  3. Take another small bowl ,add tamarind paste, 1/4 tsp chat masala, 1/4 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp lemon juice and onion rings. Mix well.
  4. Now take burger bun, cut it as shown in pictorial description. Add 1 tbsp of mayoketchup and spread evenly. Add tomato slices,onion rings ,bhajia, 1 tbsp mayoketchup, lettuce and cover with the other halve of bun.
